The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge reported that the Indigo Trail, located off of Wildlife Drive, will be closed to all traffic starting on Feb. 1 for construction and bank stabilization. It will be closed until further notice, with the reopening date to be announced later. In addition, the portion of the trail from the Visitor & Education Center parking lot to Wildlife Drive remains under construction for repairs from hurricane damage to the boardwalks.
