City reports on holiday operation hours, refuse collection
The city of Sanibel’s Administrative Offices will be closed on Oct. 9 in observance of Columbus Day. They will resume regular operating hours on Oct. 10. For more information, contact City Hall at 239-472-3700.
Refuse, recycling and vegetation waste collection will have no change in the trash pick-up schedule. For more information, contact Waste Management at 239-334-1224.
The Sanibel Recreation Center will remain open on Oct. 9 and the After-School Program will operate for youth currently enrolled from 2:15 to 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact the rec center at 239-472-0345.
