UPDATE: Lee Health provides update on Hurricane Ian
UPDATE (Sept. 27, 2022):
At about 6:45 p.m. today, Lee Health reported that Lee Convenient Care offices are now closed. Due to the closures, Lee Health’s Lee TeleHealth service price has been reduced to $20 until further notice.
Lee TeleHealth is an on-demand urgent care telehealth service that connects patients directly with a physician or advanced provider. It is available 24/7. All you need to use Lee TeleHealth is a smartphone, tablet or a computer with a webcam.
Lee TeleHealth can be accessed in the following convenient ways:
– From the Lee Health Mobile App
– Downloading the “Lee TeleHealth” app on your smartphone or tablet
– Visiting https://leetelehealth.org from a computer

ORIGINAL (Sept. 27, 2022):
At about 2:30 p.m. today, Lee Health reported that its Incident Management Team is closely monitoring the progress of Hurricane Ian and its potential impact to Southwest Florida. At this time, Lee Health is under normal operating conditions.
The Incident Command Center has been activated. Lee Health is making all the necessary preparations to ensure it has supplies needed during the storm and are completing standard procedures to secure its facilities for a major hurricane.
It noted:
– Lee Health hospitals are not designated hurricane shelters; only special needs individuals who have been pre-registered and designated by the Lee County EOC will be sheltered. Others in the community needing to evacuate to shelters should monitor the Lee County Emergency Management website for information about public shelters.
– In the event of power outages, Lee Health hospitals have back-up power supplies to ensure vital care is not interrupted.
Closures/cancellations:
– Beginning today, Sept. 27, at 5 p.m., hospital visitation will be restricted to promote a safe environment for patients and operation of hospital facilities.
– For Lee Physician Group, Outpatient Offices and Lee Convenient Care: Offices will remain open today, Sept. 27, depending on staffing availability. Offices in an evacuation zone are closing.
– All Lee Physician Group offices will be closed on Sept. 28-29.
– The Lee Convenient Care offices will remain open for normal business hours and will be closed on Sept. 28-29. Based on weather conditions, a decision to re-open on Sept. 29 could occur.
– Blood donor collection sites will be closed and our scheduled blood drives will be cancelled today, Sept. 27, and on Sept. 28.
– The Child Development Centers are closed.
– The Milk Lab at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is also closed.
