The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools held its annual Back to School Supply Drive this summer at several participating locations throughout Lee County and at the foundation.

The donations benefitted the foundation’s Education Resource Center, which provides Lee County School District educators access to new and reusable classroom supplies at no cost.

“We’re thrilled that our employees and generous customers helped us collect hundreds of needed school supplies to support the Education Resource Center at The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools,” Sanibel Captiva Community Bank Vice President Amy McQuagge said. “As a community bank, we value our partnership with the foundation and the important work they do for our Lee County public school teachers and their students”.

Thanks to the efforts of local businesses and individuals, the drive raised thousands of supplies.
