The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife and “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that 2021 Artist-in-Residence Rachel Pierce recently completed her plein-air, pop-up demos schedule by working on a community mural with members of the public on April 15, which Pierce then finished up on April 20. The four-panel mural will grace the patio corridor past the refuge’s America’s Best Restroom. For news of upcoming events and activities with Pierce, including making Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards with the artist, visit https://www.dingdarlingsociety.org/articles/artist-in-residence.
