PROGRAM TO HELP WITH HOMEWORK, ASSIGNMENTS
On March 8, the School District of Lee County launched a new after-school program to provide students with help completing homework and class assignments.
“Connect with LEE” will use Zoom to connect students with live educational experts. The program will provide a certified teacher for all kindergarten through 12th-grade students, in all subjects.
To engage with a teacher for help with homework and class assignments, students will use the Student Launchpad on their Chromebook or any electronic device. They will then select the grade or content specific virtual classroom link, and be placed into a virtual waiting room until the teacher is ready to start the Zoom meeting.
Connect with LEE will be available on days school is in session Monday through Thursday:
– Elementary from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
– Middle school from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
– High school from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There is no cost or fee for the service.
