Chamber celebrates San Cap Community Bank relocation
On Feb. 16, the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce celebrated the recent opening of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank’s new main office, at 2406 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
Besides a more convenient location, the office offers customers added features including a drive-up ATM, expanded parking, a larger lobby and the Ken Nirenberg Community Room, named in honor of the late bank director who passed away in December.
“Now with two locations at either end of Periwinkle Way, we are able to more conveniently extend our unmatched, superior customer service in helping customers find smart, thoughtful banking solutions,” President and Chief Executive Officer Craig Albert said. “Our foundation is built on people and relationships, and our success is based on the recognition and value we place on relationships with customers, team members, and our community.”
The office replaces the original bank, which opened at 2475 Library Way in 2003. It was the first office for the bank, which has grown to include seven other branches throughout Sanibel and Fort Myers.
“We’re so proud to be a long-term member of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce,” Albert said. “This partnership is important to us because it allows us the opportunity to be actively involved in the betterment of our island community.”
“Congratulations to Craig and his team for their expansion — one more shining example of the bank’s vitality and commitment to serving its community,” chamber President John Lai said. “Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has become such an integral part of the islands’ financial scene, and we are always happy to applaud its efforts.”
