CHAMBER TO HOST VIRTUAL BUSINESS MEETING
Lee County Economic Development Office Director John Talmage will be the guest speaker at virtual business meeting of the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 10 at noon.
Talmage, who has spent more than 30 years working in the field of local economic and community development for municipal governments and national research organizations, served previously as the chief of staff to the city manager for Fort Myers. He also sat for several years on the city of Sanibel’s Planning Commission and on a number of island boards of directors, including the Sanibel Community Association, F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva, CROW and the Sanibel Sea School.
The chamber will send a Zoom invitation to its members to register for the event. When members RSVP, they will receive a link to the Zoom meeting. Participants can send questions in advance to Ashley Pignato at email@example.com or submit them at the meeting using the chat feature.

SAN CAP COMMUNITY BANK HIRES KADUK
Rachel Kaduk has joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank as a loan operations specialist at the Bridge Branch in Fort Myers.
She will focus on the bank’s Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program efforts and assist on loan operation special projects.
Prior to joining the bank, Kaduk served as business development manager and Internet marketing specialist for Seminole Casino Hotel. She also worked in the broadcast media industry as a promotions coordinator, marketing consultant and traffic director for several local radio stations.
