F.I.S.H., George & Wendy’s to host monthly luncheon
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva, with George & Wendy’s Seafood Grill, continues its community-wide Friendly Faces Luncheon in a virtual format. The first event in December was a huge success. Twenty community members took part in games, conversation and socialization via Zoom, sharing smiles, laughter and renewed connections, officials reported.
The next one will take place on Jan. 19.
Prepared by George & Wendy’s and delivered by F.I.S.H. volunteers, the lunch will include activities, games and lots of conversation. Again, F.I.S.H. is covering the cost for all participants. The lunch consists of a cold entree, side, water bottle and dessert. Meal choice details are provided upon sign-up.
“We hope community members won’t let technology get in the way, as we want everyone to join us,” Senior Services & Community Engagement Director Susan Alexander said. “Our staff can help you with any technology concerns. We want everyone to join the fun, catch up with friends from the past and make new connections.”
Reservations and meal choices are required by Jan. 15.
For more information or to make a reservation, call Alexander or Anthony Morales at 239-472-4775. Once registered, F.I.S.H. will provide an email link and meeting ID number for access.
