TCH’s Culinary Education Center releases cookbook
The Community House announced the release of a cookbook, “Local Flavor: Recipes from the Culinary Education Center.” Based on Southwest Florida’s fruit and vegetable offerings, Resident Chef Jarred shares his recipes, with tidbits about the key ingredients included. The featured recipes were chosen by members of the kitchen guild, including Nancy Black, Salli Kirkland, Marge Meek and Kathy Samson. Three sponsors helped to make the project possible: Mike Kelly, Kirkland and Meek. The cookbook is available for $15 at The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
