The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge recently reported that the front Information Desk and Refuge Nature Store have reopened in the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s Visitor & Educator Center. All hands-on exhibits in the center, however, are still hands-off. In addition, Tarpon Bay Explorers’ narrated tram tours of Wildlife Drive are back to their pre-pandemic Saturday to Thursday schedule. All tours and rentals are now fully operational.
