The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, will present the following:

SENIOR AEROBIC EXERCISE

Senior Aerobics will be held today, Dec. 2, at 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with instructor Mahnaz Bassiri. Bring your own weights optional. A $5 donation is suggested.

PAINTING WITH FRIENDS

Painting with Friends will be held today, Dec. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Bring you own supplies to paint. No instruction given; only verbal support from fellow artists. Cost is $10.

LIVING LIFE CURRENT

Living Life Current will meet on Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. Talk about what is happening locally, nationally and throughout the world. Moderated by Tommy Williams. Attendees will follow CDC guidelines; masks will be required and social distancing practiced. Suggested donation of $5.

SENIOR HEARTS CARD CLUB

Senior Hearts Card Club will meet on Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. Play the game of Hearts; beginners to experts welcome. A $5 donation is suggested.

ARTS AND CRAFT SHOW

Arts and Craft Show will be held on Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Suggested donation of $5. Masks will be required.

ART CLASS WITH SUZETTE

Artist Suzette Heeres will hold a class on Dec. 7 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Create four necklaces to take home. Cost is $55 for members and $65 for non-members.

SHELL CRAFTERS

Shell Crafters will be open for shopping and browsing on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. Classes are being offered at 10 a.m., with limited spaces available.

KIDS COOKING CLASS

Resident Chef Jarred Harris will host a Kids Cooking Class on Dec. 7 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Vegan holiday desserts menu to include gingerbread ornaments and cashew brittle. Masks required and social distancing will be in place. Cost is $30 per child; scholarships available.

SANIBEL BRIDGE CLUB

The Sanibel Bridge Club will play cards on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. Bringing a partner is suggested, but not required. Games not sanctioned or duplicate. Suggested donation of $5.

ART CLASS WITH ANITA

Artist Anita Marshall will hold a class on Dec. 8 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The piece will be “Water Lily.” Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members; paint kit rentals available for $10.

LINE DANCING

Line Dancing with Maria Di Rosa will take place on Dec. 8 from 1 to 2 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested.

In addition, orders are being taken for to-go items as a fundraiser to benefit the Sanibel Community Association operations. Soups are kale and white bean soup, Manhattan clam chowder and asparagus soup. Meals are crustless chicken pot pie with scalloped potatoes, chicken marsala with polenta cake, beef short ribs with scalloped potatoes, and wild mushroom, cranberry and brie Wellington with scalloped potatoes; all come with vegetables. Desserts are chocolate tart, sugar-free sweet potato pie and sugar-free pear and almond Tart. Pick up dates are Dec. 14-23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; curbside delivery available.

Also, there are “Shell Critter Kits to Go” available for $20 each; add an extra $8 for shipping. Choose four out of 13 critters to assemble. There is an “Art Kit to Go” available for $20. Eight different postcards to color and zentangle; sharpie and educational video link included.
