Symphony returns to stage with Holiday TinyPops Concerts

By SWFL SYMPHONY - | Nov 25, 2020

The Southwest Florida Symphony will begin the previously delayed 2020-21 season with its 2020 “Holiday TinyPops: I’ll Stay Home for Christmas” concerts in various locations from Dec. 3-6.

“We’ve been carefully navigating our way through the COVID-19 crisis and will take every precaution to ensure our return to the stage keeps our audiences and musicians as safe and socially-distanced as possible,” orchestra Executive Director Amy Ginsburg said.

“It’s been a tough year, but the holidays are upon us and we think everyone could use the gift of live music right now,” she added. “While we will miss bringing the full orchestral holiday performance to our community we’ve traditionally delivered for almost 60 years, we’re thrilled to be able to offer small ensemble performances.”

“Holiday TinyPops: I’ll Stay Home for Christmas” features holiday favorites that are festive and memorable, along with a performance of an original parody entitled “Please Stay Home for Christmas.” Concert dates and locations are: Dec. 3 at Cape Cabaret in Cape Coral, Dec. 4 at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers, Dec. 5 at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers and Dec. 6 at The Community House on Sanibel.
