F.I.S.H. going virtual with Friendly Faces Luncheons
After postponing the events in March due to the pandemic, F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva – in partnership with George & Wendy’s Seafood Grill – is bringing back its community-wide Friendly Faces Luncheons in a virtual format using Zoom.
The first one will be held on Dec. 15.
Prepared by George & Wendy’s and delivered by F.I.S.H. volunteers, the lunch will include activities, games and lots of conversation. As a welcome back incentive, F.I.S.H. is buying the lunch for all participants of the first virtual event.
“We hope community members won’t let technology get in the way, as we want everyone to join us and have fun,” Senior Services & Community Engagement Director Susan Alexander said. “Our staff can help you with any technology concerns.”
Reservations and meal choices are required by Dec. 8.
For more information or to make a reservation, call Alexander or Anthony Morales at 239-472-4775. Once registered, F.I.S.H. will provide an email link and meeting ID number for access.
