LWV of Sanibel to host virtual program
The League of Women Voters of Sanibel will hold a Zoom presentation on Nov. 18 at noon with Lee County Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle.
He will share his experience and knowledge, and the league will ask him for a wrap-up of the ins and outs of this election cycle. There will also be time for audience questions via the “chat” function.
A lifelong Lee County resident, Doyle was elected supervisor of elections in 2016.
After graduating from Bishop Verot High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and spent four years in Tampa, where he worked for Joint Command at MacDill Air Force base and trained as an airborne radio operator. Doyle earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from the University of West Florida, and later grew and ran a family business for over 30 years. He is active in the community as a member of the Fort Myers Rotary Club and serves annually on the Allocations Board of the United Way.
