Night to Shine 2021 going virtual

By SCC - | Oct 21, 2020

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, the event will be hosted on Feb. 12 for the third year in a row by the Sanibel Community Church.

A new virtual format created by the foundation will allow guests to celebrate in a safe manner and still be crowned king or queen of the prom. Volunteers will create and deliver supplies to the homes of those registered to participate as guests and caregivers. Tebow will deliver a personal video message during the evening via the Internet to participants’ homes. Surprises will be revealed leading up to the event.

Guest and volunteer registration for SCC participants will open on Nov. 2 at SanibelChurch.com.

Information and updates can be followed on the church’s Night to Shine Facebook page.

In 2020, 721 churches from around the world came together to host Night to Shine for approximately 115,000 honored guests through the support of 215,000 volunteers across all 50 states and in 34 countries. Sanibel Community Church joined in the worldwide movement with 120 registered guests, 100 caregivers, about 200 volunteers and more than 15 supporting businesses and organizations.
