Youth theatre cast to livestream performance

By ALLIANCE FOR THE ARTS - | Oct 7, 2020

Experience and enjoy “Charlotte’s Web the Musical” from the best seats in your house.

On Oct. 17, the Alliance for the Arts’ youth theatre cast will bring E.B. White’s classic novel to life through a livestream performance from 7 to 8 p.m. It is free to stream, with a suggested donation.

All the familiar characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.”

Creators, performers, fans and newcomers of all ages are welcome.
