SCCF announces new format for Wines in the Wild
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation will host Wines in the Wild 2020 on Nov. 13.
This year, it will celebrate food and wine not at the Bailey Homestead, but at yourhomeINstead. The SCCF team will provide all of the ingredients that participants will need for a fun evening.
There will be wine — a bottle of white and bottle of red — selected just for the event by wine partner Bailey’s General Store. There will be food — delectable dishes designed for at-home enjoyment by chefs Melissa Akin of Cielo, Leslie Adams of Catering by Leslie Adams, Malia and Jeff Samson of Spoondrift, and Melissa Donahue from Sweet Melissa’s Cafe. There will be décor — a “centerpiece” designed by the Native Landscapes & Garden Center. There will be entertainment — a link to a specially curated Wines in the Wild music playlist. There will be a yummy dessert and surprises, too.
The SCCF also created a special 50/50 drawing, adding wine this year.
The Wines in the Wild Party Box is available for $130 for one person and $210 for two people. The portable party to go will be available for touch-less drive-by pickup at the homestead on Nov. 13.
Boxes must be reserved by Nov. 6.
