Dinner planned in conjunction with 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H.
Out of an abundance of caution and care for participants and islanders, the 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. will take place virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also new this year is a “carb” load dinner, which will be held by community partner The Community House on Oct. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m.
“The Community House is such an important part of our community and a fantastic partner to F.I.S.H.,” F.I.S.H. Executive Director Alicia Tighe Orgera said. “We’re excited for this fun addition to safe race festivities and are looking forward to this delicious meal.”
The dinner will feature grilled chicken breast with citrus notes, tomato pasta and vegetable bake, and TCH Resident Chef Jarred Harris’ “amazing mac and cheese,” along with salad and garlic bread.
The meal will be offered for dine in or car-side delivery. Dine in will require a reservation with the names of those you will be seated with in your social group. Masks will be required until seated.
The cost is $20 per person and the net proceeds will support TCH’s operations.
