Books being gathered for WoW

By REFUGE / DDWS - | Sep 2, 2020

The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s Wildlife on Wheels (WoW) Education Team is getting geared up for its fall travels to at-risk schools around the five-county area. It is gathering a library of books for all grades to lend teachers ahead of and during the mobile classroom’s one-week visits. The team is also preparing lesson plans to include with each book. Anyone interested in making a donation to purchase books and support the needs for the WoW project can contact “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge Executive Director Birgie Miller at 239-472-1100 ext. 232.
