Bank of the Islands recently made a donation through the We Love Our Islands program. Winner Megan Shores was spotted with the program’s decal on her vehicle, winning her the chance to decide which local non-profit would receive a charitable contribution. She chose to donate $3,100 to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife. The bank has donated $87,400 to date through the program. In addition, Shores – the owner of Nanny’s – pledged to donate 10 percent of her sales proceeds on the first Sunday of the month from November through April to CROW. All islanders are invited to visit the bank’s branches to learn more about the We Love Our Islands program and how to obtain a free decal.
