Broadway Palm cancels ‘The Sound of Music’ performances
The Broadway Palm recently announced that it has canceled its run of “The Sound of Music.”
Officials reported that the theatre remained optimistic that Southwest Florida would see a decline in cases of COVID-19, but with the numbers continuing to rise it believes the move is absolutely essential to protect guests, staff members, performers and the community.
All ticket holders for the canceled performances will be contacted.
“The Sound of Music” was the final show in the theatre’s 27th season. Its 28th season is still scheduled as planned and will begin on Aug. 20. For more information, visit BroadwayPalm.com.
