CEPD hires new beach ambassador

The Captiva Erosion Prevention District recently announced the hiring of a staff member.

On June 29, it reported that Todd Hunter has come on board as the beach ambassador. His duties will include maintaining the Alison Hagerup Beach parking lot and monitoring the beaches of Captiva.

Hunter will be seen on the district’s John Deere, monitoring and maintaining the beaches.

He is a retired sergeant first class from the U.S. Army and is certified as a master fitness trainer.
