Summer BreakSpot sites will use the same cleaning and safety protocols in place since March to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Families will stay in their car and use school bus ramps or entrance ways to pick up the meals. Social distancing will remain in effect.
“Things may look different this year, but our mission is still to feed as many kids as possible,” Supervisor of After School and Summer Meals Cheryl Lock said. “The health and safety of our families is our top priority, so we will not be having any congregated feeding as we have in the past.”
The location of pick-up sites is flexible and could change depending on the demand.
