Hospitals in Lee County have received more than $32 million in federal relief funds to help offset costs related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The money is part of the recent economic stimulus package.

“Much needed funding has been included in the latest Congressional relief package to aid the Lee Health System, NCH Healthcare System, and various hospitals throughout Southwest Florida,” said Congressman Francis Rooney, R-19, in a statement released Monday announcing the funds. “These funds will give our frontline medical workers financial support to continue their tireless work fighting and treating COVID-19. In this time of crisis, it is essential that Southwest Florida’s medical workers have the supplies and provisions they need.”

Funding from the Department of Health and Human Services appropriated to Southwest Florida’s hospitals is as follows:

Lee Memorial Hospital – $18,823,565

NCH Baker Hospital – $10,175,350

The Willough at Naples – $362,039

Park Royal Hospital – $432,564

Select Specialty Hospital Fort Myers – $397,607
