The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that it received nearly 600 votes for the People’s Choice award for the “Project Refuge: A Couture Fashion Show Using Trash.” From 23 amazing designs, voters faced the difficult task of choosing only three. The winners are as follows: “Hanu,” by designers Sedona Lehua and Trinity Joy; “Lunchroom Leftovers,” by designers Kathy Daddato, Audrina and Sophia Westland; and “Office Chic,” by designers Constance Walker and Alexa Collins. The winners will each receive $100 and gifts donated by the Sanibel Day Spa.
