Today, Sanibel Mayor Kevin Ruane issued a proclamation extending the cancellation of all Sanibel Planning Commission and city committee meetings plus all special event permits through April 30 due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The proclamation also authorizes city council liaisons to perform their duties in any reasonable means other than in-person participation.
