Lee Board of County Commission meeting Tuesday allows for virtual public participation
The regularly scheduled Lee Board of County Commissioners meeting for Tuesday, March 17, will proceed as planned and the public can participate virtually.

The 9:30 a.m. meeting also can be viewed at www.leegov.com, via LeeTV and via Facebook Live at Lee County Government. To view the complete agenda, visitwww.leegov.com/bocc/meetings/agendas. The county asks that only those who are feeling well and healthy attend the meeting, which is at the Old County Courthouse, 2120 Main St., Fort Myers. Attendees are asked to observe social distancing and best hygiene practices.
County Commissioners are expected to approve a State of Local Emergency at the meeting as a matter of procedure. The Lee County Emergency Operations Center is at a Level 2 virtual activation at this time as county officials coordinate with partners and stakeholders.
The county encourages everyone to read the resources offered by the federal Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health. Avoid speculating based on what may be said on social media.
