The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva reported that the 19th annual Peek at the Unique has drawn a generous group of major business sponsors and individual benefactors. The group was invited recently to the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village to be photographed at the 1924 Sears home. The historic building, named Shore Haven and formerly located on the San Carlos Bay, was featured in the 2009 Peek tour. All proceeds from the Peek will be awarded in grants to organizations whose work mirrors Zonta’s mission of empowering women and girls. Tickets are available through www.EventBrite.com; Zontians will be selling tickets at Bailey’s General Store on Sanibel on March 13. For sponsorship and other information, visit www.zontasancap.com.
