SCHEA St. Patrick’s Day Trolley Event set for March 17
The South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Associations will be hosting their annual trolley event on March 17 from 7-11 p.m.
Participants can dress in their best St. Patty’s Day garb and hop aboard a trolley to 12 local destinations and enjoy discounted specialty drinks.
“We’re absolutely excited,” said Pamela of SCHEA. “Most of our trolley events are on the weekend, but this is one that must be on St. Patrick’s Day. So many people love to come out and just have fun.”
Attendees can get their passport stamped at every location to win an Irish-themed gift basket filled with Guinness, Jameson Irish Whiskey and more. Also be sure to get your photo taken at the official photo booth in the lobby of Dolphin Key Resort to have a chance to win four tickets to SCHEA’s next trolley event.
Participating locations and their drink specials include:
* BackStreets Sports Bar: Thin Mint shot
* Big Blue Brewing: Lucky Leprechaun
* Big Storm Brewing: Tropic Pressure
* Dixie Roadhouse: The Lucky Shamrock
* Ollie’s Pub: Yuengling draft

“Who doesn’t love being Irish for a night?” organizers said. “It’s all about having fun. We’ll see people with green hair, painted faces and head-to-toe costumes. Whether you show up wearing a simple green hat or go all out, you’ll fit right in.”
Tickets are $17 per person and drink specials at each location at an additional $2.50.
This is only one of two trolley events where drinks are an additional cost.
Regular check-in will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Big John Plaza or in front of Dixie Roadhouse.
