A taste of Project Refuge

By Staff | Mar 4, 2020

PHOTO PROVIDED Kathy Daddato works on her design for “Project Refuge” using trash such as juice boxes and potato chip bags, which were collected from the lunchroom at her granddaughter's elementary school.

The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that the “Project Refuge: A Couture Fashion Show Using Trash” and “Twist Tie Optional Luncheon”on March 10 have sold out. However, those without tickets will still have a chance to view the 23 original creations. Videographer Nick Adams and photographer Scott McPhee donated their time to create visual presentations, which will be available online with a link to be announced.
