F.I.S.H., San-Cap Wellness to host anti-aging program
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva and Dr. Brian Formolo, of Sanibel-Captiva Chiropractic & Wellness, will offer a presentation, “Anti-Aging: How to Live a Longer and Healthier Life,” on March 11 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, at 2304 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
A holistic chiropractic physician, Formolo will describe how specific dietary changes can significantly reduce the risk of health conditions such as heart attack, cancer and diabetes. He will demonstrate how to improve one’s health safely and effectively, without calorie restriction, hormone therapies or medication, and that slowing down the pace at which the body ages is possible.
A Sanibel resident, Formolo is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. He owned and operated a boutique holistic clinic in Wisconsin for over 20 years before relocating to the island and opening Sanibel-Captiva Chiropractic & Wellness.
“This workshop will be an informative conversation about daily intake of food and how it may contribute to unfavorable health conditions and the aging process,” F.I.S.H. Program Director Kathy Y. Monroe said. “Most health experts agree that eating a well-balanced diet of fruits, vegetables and protein is the sensible path to a healthier younger you.”
