On Feb. 1, 45 teens from Sanibel Community Church’s H2O Youth Ministries – along with their parents and leaders – participated in the 2nd Annual Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack-Out at the church. They hand packed scientifically-formulated and nutritionally-complete meals for starving, malnourished and hungry people. The meals are distributed to a network of 80-plus partners in 70 countries. During the two-hour shift, the youths scooped, weighed, sealed and boxed 104 cases of food packages, beating last year’s record of 44 boxes. In the two hours, 120 volunteers packed 203 boxes, totaling 43,848 meals that will be shipped to those in need.
