Alphabet cones found on Sanibel
Sisters Heidi Cochran, 4, Nelle Cochran, 6, and Jane Cochran, 7, all of Fairfield, Connecticut, each found an alphabet cone on Feb. 11 near the West Wind Inn on West Gulf Drive on Sanibel. Their father, Brett Cochran, explained that it was their first time finding the shells. He noted that they have found a piece of a junonia before – and are still on the hunt for that big prize. The sisters are frequent visitors to Sanibel as their grandparents live full-time on the island. Cochran added that he and his wife were married on the island almost 10 years ago.
