F.I.S.H., partners to host mental health presentation
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva is teaming up with the Sanibel Police Department, Centerstone FACT Team, Park Royal Hospital and The Community House for the last presentation in its mental health series, “It Takes a Village,” on Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Community House.
Presenters Park Royal Hospital Director Outpatient Services Leann Marston, Centerstone FACT Team Manager Adina Bridges and and a Crisis Intervention Trained (CIT) Officer from the Sanibel police will inform how the community-at-large plays a part with helping those living with mental illness.
“As a team member of Centerstone, I am passionate in delivering comprehensive, community-based services aimed to deliver treatment to maintain stability for those most vulnerable in the community,” Bridges said. “We are able to connect medically needy and psychiatric clients to services such as housing, medications, rehab, treatment courts, et cetera.”
