Tickets on sale for Cape Coral Craft Beer Festival

By Staff | Jan 30, 2020

Southwest Florida beer enthusiasts can get a taste of many local selections next weekend at Big Storm Brewery’s Cape Coral Craft Beer Festival.

On Feb. 8, from noon to 4 p.m., more than a dozen breweries will be at Big Storm to pull the tab on some of their best creations for the public to taste.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.

“We are more than thrilled to know that Cape Coral will soon have an animal shelter. We love our furry friends! Being a part of this effort is such a joy to our team at Big Storm,” said John Schroeder, Big Storm Brewery Cape Coral general manager.

Those at the new animal shelter are grateful for Big Storm’s support.

“For too many years, Cape Coral hasn’t had an animal shelter. But thanks to our amazing community, we are almost there. We’re grateful to Big Storm and our craft brewers for helping to give animals in need the loving homes they deserve,” said Liz McCauley, Cape Coral Animal Shelter executive director.

Tickets are $25 in advance when purchased on Eventbrite or at their Cape Coral Taproom.

“Tickets for this event will be limited, so get them while you can!” reads the event description.

Day-of tickets will be $35. Your ticket will get you a 5oz cup and unlimited samples from the breweries.

Participating breweries include: Big Storm, Eight-Foot Brewing, Big Blue Brewing, Scotty’s Bierworks, Fat Point Brewing, Big Top Brewing, Millennial Brewing, Islamorada Brewery, Naples Beach Brewery, Coastal Dayz Brewery, Bone Hook Brewing, South Cypress Brewing RipTide Brewing and LaBelle Brewing.

DJ MARA will take care of all of your music needs. And while your toes are tapping with a cold, frosty brew in your hand, you can find El Local food truck on-site to help curb your hunger.

Volunteers are also needed to support the event. If you are interested in volunteering, contact John Schroeder, Cape Coral Taproom manager, at: john@seaboardcraft.com.

Parking for the craft beer festival is limited and event organizers highly encourage patrons to utilize a ride sharing service.
