By Staff | Jan 29, 2020

In partnership with Captiva Cruises, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Pine Island Sounds sunset concert series will present Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Amythyst Khia aboard the Lady Chadwick on March 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; departing from McCarthy’s Marina, at 11401 Andy Rosse Lane, Captiva. Whether playing banjo or acoustic guitar, Khia captures eclectic influences that span decades, finding inspiration in old time music, alternative rock, folk, country and blues. Tickets are $120 and include an open full bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Catering by Leslie Adams. Proceeds from the event will support the SCCF’s efforts to provide solid data and advocacy to encourage science-based water management practices at the federal, state, regional, and local levels for local waters.
