Celebrate nature with renowned California jeweler
Lily & Co. Jewelers will host California jewelry designer Conni Mainne on Jan. 29-30 and its clients will have the chance to meet Mainne and enjoy complimentary wine and delectable appetizers.
“Sanibel’s natural beauty and our passion for the environment make Lily the perfect host for Conni’s inspirational jewelry,” Dan Schuyler, co-owner of Lily & Co. Jewelers with Karen Bell, said.
Mainne hails from the hills of California’s North Coast. From her home in Mendocino, her jewelry reflects nature’s geometries and lyrical forms found in botanicals, the surf, clouds, stars and moon.
“Lily’s clients will recognize immediately how Conni’s love of nature reflects in her artistry,” he said.
Mainne uses moonstones, as well as other gemstones like aquamarines, tourmalines, sapphires, pearls and diamonds. She recreates natural forms and contours such as leaf and nautilus patterns using the gemstones with 18-karat gold and silver. Her jewelry is hand-made using recycled precious metals, and Mainne uses only natural and ethically sourced gemstones, pearls and diamonds that are conflict-free.
“Conni is a force of nature and her passion for reflecting the beauty of the environment makes her a soul sister to all who are drawn to our enchanted barrier island in Southwest Florida,” Schuyler said.
