The Kiwanis Club of Sanibel Captiva has provided a grant of $1,500 to Special Equestrians, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding and equine assisted activities to children and adults. Kiwanis support for the organization is part of its broad program of providing educational and recreational opportunities for the youth of Sanibel and Captiva. In addition, the Kiwanis Club presented a grant of $1,000 to Boy Scout Troop 1740 and Cub Scout Pack 1740 to support their activities for the year. It makes the fifth year the club has provided support to the Scouts, since their founding in 2016. For more information, visit sanibelcaptiva.org or call 239-677-7299.
