SCCF, SCAL to host art exhibit
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and Sanibel-Captiva Art League are partnering for a new exhibit, themed “Island,” on display from Feb. 3 to April 2 at the SCCF Bailey Homestead Preserve, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. It will feature fresh works of art and is open to all members of the league and SCCF; there is no fee to enter with proof of membership. Artwork should be representative of the SCCF’s mission and express the theme of “island,” whether interpretative or literal. Submissions may be 2-D or 3-D, but no photography. For dimension restrictions and rules, visit sancapart.com and click on “Feb 2020 Show.” Pieces can be dropped off on Jan. 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. Following the drop-off, there will be an artist orientation at 11:30 a.m. For more information, contact email@example.com or 239-472-1932.
