Holiday Craft Bazaar to feature local handmade items
The Community House will host a Holiday Craft Bazaar on Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Approximately 20 vendors will be selling a variety of goods, including handmade purses, jewelry, macaroons, artwork, scarves and soaps. The event is free and open to the public.
“We used to do a craft and artisan fair with all local vendors in November, and during the construction we weren’t able to,” Executive Director Teresa Riska-Hall said. “However, this year I had multiple local people asking for the opportunity to sell their artisan items. We had an available date, so we decided to host this opportunity for the local residents to sell their items.”
“It is the perfect opportunity to buy last-minute, local holiday gift items, at affordable prices,” she added. “Some of these items are the perfect thing. My pocket is always lighter after this event.”
The Community House is at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
