Duo Beaux Arts to perform at Shell Point

The Shell Point Retirement Community will continue its Concerts & Conversations program with a performance by Duo Beaux Arts on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Grand Cypress Room at The Woodlands at Shell Point.

Formed in 2008, Duo Beaux Arts is made up of talented duo and internationally renowned husband-and-wife concert pianists Dr. Catherine Lan and Steinway Artist Tao Lin. They are well-known for their four-handed and solo pieces, specializing in music from the Baroque era to the contemporary, mixing semi-classical and fun pop tunes, as well as playing tango and ragtime.

Recent performances include concerts in France, Switzerland, Spain, Estonia, Netherland, Finland, Asia and the United States. Duo Beaux Arts also are the founders of the Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples, which invites pre-eminent chamber groups in the world to perform.

Attendees can enjoy fellowship and a dessert reception with the performers following the concert.
