Cape Coral Families invited to Free Fall Festival this Saturday
Crosspoint Church will present Family Fest at this Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m 1 p.m.
The event is open to the public and will include free food, carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, hair painting and lots of candy!
More than 100 volunteers are preparing to welcome hundreds of families the event.
Church members have donated more than 10,000 pieces of candy for the children who will attend. Guests also will receive free hot dogs, chips and water and free shaved ice from Pelican’s Snoballs.
Games will include a dunk tank, multiple bounce houses, fishing pond and other interactive carnival games. Children can have their faces and hair painted as well. There will be activities for children of all ages and no pre-registration is required.
“We are so excited to offer Family Fest as a gift to our Cape Coral community,” said Jeff Swearingen, lead pastor at Crosspoint. “We understand that family activities can sometimes be expensive and want to provide a day where families can come and have a great time at no cost to them at all.
Crosspoint is a non-denominational Christian church who has been serving the Cape Coral community since 2006. The church has hosted other large free community events over the years including Trunk-or-Treats in the fall and Eggsplosions in the spring. They also hosted Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine, a prom for people with special needs, last February and are preparing to host the same event in February 2020.
“Serving our community has been at the heart of Crosspoint since our inception,” Swearingen said. “We want our community to know that we are FOR them and that God is FOR them too.”
Mariner High School is at 701 Chiquita Blvd.
