“Our focus is always on using natural, local, environmentally friendly materials,” educator Shannon Stainken said. “We also want to create art that our students will be proud to take home or give to a friend or family member.”

Project details for each session are available on the organization’s website. and planned activities include palm frond weaving, mosaic making and shell ornament decorating.

Cost is $20 per student per session, with scholarships available upon request. The classes will be offered on Oct. 29, Nov. 5, Nov. 12 and Nov. 19 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Sanibel Sea School.
