F.I.S.H. board member among award finalists
F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva recently nominated Board Vice Chair John Morse for the 3rd Annual ENPYs (Excellence in Nonprofit Performance Yearly) and he made the top three finalist list.
The Cape Coral Community Foundation will host the annual ENPYs awards luncheon and ceremony on Oct. 10. At the event, the efforts of Southwest Florida nonprofits and the accomplishments of nonprofit leaders will be collectively recognized.
“John is an extremely committed leader who is very seriously engaged in the mission of F.I.S.H. Always an advocate for the organization, John contributes countless hours of involvement in many aspects of the organization including its leadership, legal needs, organization governance and financial planning,” F.I.S.H. President Maggi Feiner said. “John stands for our mission by making difference to board members through effective communication, by determining the board’s and the organization’s needs, and progressing the organization to where we are today. He builds trust within board and staff members, as well as with our donors and volunteers.”
“He understands group dynamics, which enhances the focus on the mission of the organization while inspiring engagement, respect and understanding within our team members,” she added. “John encourages consistency, continuity and flexibility for change with compassion for who we are, what we do and for those we serve.”
