The 10K Race 4 F.I.S.H. logo by cartoonist Dave Horton and all race materials have been printed by silver sponsor Arthur Printing, while the Law Office of Janet Strickland also return as a silver sponsor.

“We believe in what F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva does as an organization that cares about the needs of people. It’s truly a wonderful thing,” Arthur Printing owner Bob Welsh said.

“Sanibel has some of the best organizations, making it a terrific place to live and work,” Strickland said.

In its 11th year, the 10K Race is set for Oct. 26 at 7:30 a.m. at The Community House on Sanibel, where the race begins and ends. Runners will receive medallions and awards for placing in the top three of their age group. Cost to register is $40 before Oct. 20, $45 from Oct. 21-25 and $50 on race day.

This year’s event will feature a Kids Race for ages 10 and younger at the Sanibel Community Park. The youth run is free, but registration is required. There will be food and drinks available.
