SCC to host Night to Shine 2020

By Staff | Oct 2, 2019

Sanibel Community Church recently announced that it has been selected as a returning host for Night to Shine 2020, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. The event will take place at local churches, representing 35 denominations, in 50 states and across the globe simultaneously on Feb. 7.

Every guest enters the complimentary event on a red carpet, complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, they receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors and dance floor – all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom. Tebow also delivers a personal video message during the evening to all in attendance.

In 2019, 200,000 guests attended in 24 countries with 100,000 volunteers making it possible.

Online guest and volunteer registration will open on Oct. 7 at sanibelchurch.com.
