Back-to-school drive raises thousands of supplies
On June 25 to July 20, The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools held its annual Back to School Supply Drive at several participating locations throughout Lee County and at the foundation.
Donations benefitted the foundation’s Education Resource Center, which provides Lee County School District educators access to new and reusable classroom supplies at no cost. Thanks to the efforts of local businesses and individuals, the drive raised over thousands of supplies for students and educators.
The purpose of every initiative of the foundation is to enhance and enrich the quality of public education in Lee County for students and educators. Every partnership helps it ensure that each student has an opportunity to reach their highest personal potential.
