532 perfect scores recorded on FSA
The School District of Lee County recently announced that there were 532 perfect scores on the 2018-2019 Florida Standards Assessment tests.
That is 69 more than last year and 151 more than two years ago.
The new data shows 81 schools, including charters, had at least one student earn a perfect score.
Students in grades 3-10 took the FSA test in English Language Arts, which includes both reading and writing skills. The FSA Math test was administered in grades 3-8, and the Science test was administered in grades 5 and 8. Students enrolled in Civics, Algebra I and Geometry in the spring participated in the state’s EOC exams for those subjects.
Most of the perfect scores, 258 of them, were recorded on the FSA Math test for elementary and middle students. Fifty-nine students in grades 3-8 got a perfect score on the FSA English Language Arts test.
