Sundial announces new regional director

Brett Lindsay recently returned to the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa as regional director of sales and marketing for the southeast region of Columbus Hospitality, the resort’s management company.

He will be based at the Sundial, where he will oversee sales and marketing at the resort in addition to other Columbus Hospitality Management properties in Ocala and North Carolina.

Lindsay was previously at the Sundial as director of sales and marketing, a position he held for six years, and returns to the resort after a short tenure with Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa.

Foundation announces board of directors

The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools announced its 2019-2020 board of directors.

Harlan C. Parrish, executive vice president and Lee County president of FineMark National Bank & Trust, was elected as chairman. Actively involved with the board for 20 years, he previously served as chair from 2007-2009. Parrish’s support of the foundation’s programs include the Golden Apple, The Partners in Education – State of Our Schools Breakfast, Mentoring for the Take Stock in Children Program and more.

In addition, Dennie Hamilton and Michael Wukitsch were reappointed.

Executive vice president and chief executive officer of LCEC, Hamilton has been involved with the foundation since 2017 and is starting his sixth year as treasurer. He is dedicated to many of the foundation’s programs, such as the Take Stock in Children 5k, Classroom Grants and STEM@Work.

Chief human resources officer for Lee Health, Wukitsch is continuing his role as secretary for the foundation. Lee Health has be involved with the foundation for many years and has been dedicated to Golden Apple and its College & Career Initiatives.
